Technologist, Educator, Musician, and Composer
Greg is known in one world as a professional designer and developer of custom database applications. He is the sole proprietor of Brainstorm Software Consulting (BSSC). He has worked in a varieity of fields including dental and medical claims administration, manufacturing, education, retail, film and television, and the web. He is also a technology educator, columnist, and reviewer. He joined Highroad Information Technology (HIT) in July of 2008, where he currently supports multiple legacy Pick and Universe applications as well as developing new software for their extensive client base. He joined Pipeline / Technical Resource Group (TRG) in January of 2006 as a full time consultant working for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). He supported the legacy Pick applications and the Hewlett-Packard OpenView Peregrine ServiceCenter applications at their Headquarters in downtown Los Angeles.
Greg is also a classically trained musician and composer. He graduated from California State University, Northridge in 1985 with a Bachelor of Music, performance, viola. He is a founding member of the progressive rock band Systems Theory, and a composer of ambient / electronic / experimental musical works. He has recorded several solo CDs, and had his music featured on various video soundtracks. He teaches violin and viola in the Los Angeles area.
Greg is also currently co-developing the new concept publishing company, Mariposa Ink, where artists support and promote other artists.
